Read Our World: Singlit Book Gift for Schools 2019

Singapore literature, affectionately known as SingLit, are stories about us, by us. SingLit captures our experiences, aspirations, cultures – in short, our lives. As Singapore identities evolve, our stories continue to remain important. They transform readers by exposing them to history, values and new perspectives. They help readers to transverse the past, present and future and help awaken young readers to their own potential in doing so.

 “Read Our World: SingLit Book Gift For Schools” aims to cultivate a love for SingLit in young readers. Initiated by the National Arts Council, the campaign aims to:

  1. Introduce SingLit to curriculum planners and decision makers in schools;
  2. Increase students’ access to SingLit books in school; and
  3.  Engage students in SingLit via programming with SingLit authors.

Each school is entitled to select up to 15 books in total Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Vestibulum auctor eros accumsan, imperdiet enim at, placerat lectus. Curabitur convallis ullamcorper ligula, nec egestas eros imperdiet non. In a velit euismod, bibendum ligula facilisis, rhoncus augue. Sed ut elit vitae urna scelerisque interdum vel eu nibh. Etiam sit amet quam porttitor massa fringilla tincidunt in non dui. Nunc ac velit nibh.
