This title is part of Robert Yeo’s First Editions, his preloved titles. One Hundred Years of Singapore is worth reissuing for a number of reasons perhaps the most important being that, together with Charles Burton Buckley's An Anecdotal History of Old Times in Singapore 1819-1867 and Song Ong Siang's One Hundred Years' History of the Chinese in Singapore, it completes the trilogy which forms a cornerstone of a bibliography of the history of Singapore. Unlike its companion volumes, One Hundred Years of Singapore has not been reprinted since publication and is now rare and difficult to obtain.
